Knockonwood is attractive and innovative, surprising and imposing. It is not made of metal but of wood.
Simple, elegent, warm wood which curves gracefully along the wall. The beautifully designed covering has been finished with the noblest veneer.
Knockonwood consists of two elements: the heat exchanger and the casing.
| Low-H2O heat exchanger: The heat exchanger has a low water content and that's why it is called: "Low-H2O heat exchanger". |
- Is made of pure copper and aluminium, totally non-corrosive,
- Comes with a 30 year guarantee,
- Contains only 1/10 of water comparing to a traditional radiator,
- Low water content entails little inertia and therefore faster reaction to temperature changes (e.g. sudden sunshine) or to heating demand,
- Has the ability to operate at low temperatures (55o/45o/20oC),
- Is ideal to use in combination with heat pumps, solar energy systems and condensing boilers for greater energy-saving,
- Provides 12% energy saving (BRE: Building Research Establishment, UK),
- Provides 32.7% energy-saving when operating with DBE units at low temperatures (JAGA Experience Lab, Belgium).
Casing

Knockonwood's wooden cover:
- Is finished with a scratch-resistasnt polyurethane varnish, gloss degree 40%,
- Comes with the following standard types of wood: oak natural, beech natural, maple natural, zebrano natural,
- Is offered with the following special types of wood: oak bleached, beech bleached, mahogany, oak wenge-coloured, walnut,
- Has the valve and its connections concealed within the standard casing,
- Has a maximum surface temperature of 43οC which eliminates the possibility of burns, as well as deterioration of furniture or electric appliances,
- Can be removed for cleaning and maintenance,
- Comes with a 10 year guarantee.
